Job Description

You are the lifeline between our guests and our kitchen and more importantly, the guest’s food. Any request our guests have must go through you and this should be considered a huge responsibility. Since you will be the first person our guests see, we expect you to greet each of them with a good attitude and a smile.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide exceptional guest service at a counter, taking orders and counter-serving food and drink.
  • Greet and ask guests for their order, with follow-up once served with fresh, made-to-order foods.
  • Take guests’ orders, offering suggestions and upsells about the most delicious menu items.
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) cash registers.
  • Prepare items from made-to-order foods to ice cold soft drinks.
  • Fill condiment dispensers, wipe down tables, wash dishes, and keep all areas clean and safe for guests.
  • Maintains service station, before, during and after shift to ensure proper set-up and cleanliness.
  • Prepare items for to-go orders, as necessary.
  • Some host or hostess as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 16 years or older and currently working toward a high school diploma.
  • High school degree, GED or equivalent a plus.
  • Some computer and/or register experience.
  • Great attitude and desire to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and timely for scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college classes or Tech school classes, or relavant educational experiences.
