Front of the House Server
Job Description
As a server, you should be alert, attentive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You will greet and accurately take customer orders and provide great customer service. A server must have good communication skills with the kitchen staff. Other duties are processing payments, resolving any customer problems that arise
Responsibilities & Duties
- Taking orders, serving food and beverages
- Taking orders with accuracy and order to detail
- Must have an understanding of the menu, including specials and beverage offerings
- Must be able to offer recommendations and answer any questions regarding specific menu items
- Must be able to input orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of the orders to the guest's table
- Set and clear tables
- Must have good communication skills
- Must bel able to work with the kitchen staff, management and fellow staff members and assist during peak hours

Required Qualifications
- Customer oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk and carry trays for extended periods
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server preferred, but not required
