Entry-level Hotel Room Housekeeper
Job Description
The room attendant will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure a comprehensive and safe hotel experience, while strictly adhering to all Brand and CDC cleanliness protocols.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms on a regular schedule, daily, according to CDC and brand standards.
- Make sure all rooms, public spaces, and hallways are free of trash and dirty linens.
- Make sure all rooms are provided with clean linen.
- Vacuum all hallways, public areas, closets and guest rooms
- Keep all cleaning and sanitization supplies such as bleach, mops, wipes and brooms restocked.
- Replenish chemical bottles
- Replenish the kitchen and bathroom areas with all amenities
- Ensure overall cleanliness satisfaction for all rooms, public spaces, and guest touch points
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. touchpoints
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent
- Must have prior experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift
- Be able to communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests.
- Must be attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
