Lead Housekeeper
Job Description
Work closely with the front desk and maintenance team for all maintenance issues. Work closely with a team of housekeepers by monitoring the quality assurance, and making sure they comply with all policy and procedures for cleaning services.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide great customer service and respond promptly to all inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Must have good problem-solving skills to be used for any difficult or unusual problems
- Must have good communication skills
- Monitor inventories to ensure levels are maintained
- Inspect the cleaning and servicing of all guest rooms and inspect all vacant rooms daily
- Prepare and complete reports as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Prior Housekeeping Supervisory or Management experience in Hospitality
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Highly motivated and be able to multi-task
- Able to work independently
- Must have the ability to lead and motivate others
- Must be able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for an extended period
Preferred Qualifications
- College Degree a plus, but not required
- Bilingual a plus, but not required
