Job Description

Looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter, an individual who is self-motivated, has good organizational skills, and takes pride in accuracy. Responsible for assisting loan officer in gathering of loan documents, maintaining tracking of insurance coverage on loans, and other duties as assigned for loan processing.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Accurate indexing of loan documents being scanned
  • Accurate and timely imaging of loan documents
  • Proper retention and purging of paid loan documents
  • Identify and track technical exceptions and loan covenants
  • Identify and track insurance coverage on loans
  • Communication with loan staff

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Loan documentation knowledge and lending policy and procedures
  • Compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures
  • Loan underwriting principles knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in computer knowledge and Microsoft Office
  • Works well in a stress-related atmosphere
  • Proficient in multitasking
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor
  • Attendance and punctuality essential
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend at the waist, walk, kneel or crouch throughout the day
  • Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) - Two (2) years of loan operations/documentation experience preferred
  • Real Estate knowledge preferred
  • Image documentation and scanning experience
