Job Description
Retail clerk responsible for providing in-store assistance to customers, processing purchases at the cash register, stocking shelves, and handling returns and exchanges.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Greet customers in a timely manner with a good attitude, creating a positive sales experience for the consumer
- Provide assistance to customers as needed
- Process purchases at the cash register
- Handle returns and/or exchanges
- Stock shelves as needed
- Maintain a clean work space
- Assist with inventory
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Education or GED equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General math skills in being able to count cash back to customer
- Ability to work with no supervision and be able to work as a team member
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail experience a plus, but not necessary
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not necessary
