Job Description

Retail clerk responsible for providing in-store assistance to customers, processing purchases at the cash register, stocking shelves, and handling returns and exchanges.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Greet customers in a timely manner with a good attitude, creating a positive sales experience for the consumer
  • Provide assistance to customers as needed
  • Process purchases at the cash register
  • Handle returns and/or exchanges
  • Stock shelves as needed
  • Maintain a clean work space
  • Assist with inventory

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Education or GED equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • General math skills in being able to count cash back to customer
  • Ability to work with no supervision and be able to work as a team member
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail experience a plus, but not necessary
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not necessary
